About the event
Discovering the Healing Powers of Youth-Led Influence & Advocacy (Sold Out)
(For youth ages 16-21 years of age)
Join us from 12:00-3:30 PM, Sunday, May 26th at the Fort Tectoria Rocket Lounge for this youth gathering and discover your extraordinary potential to make a real difference with your peers and in your community while finding healing in the process.
- Eat great food, have fun, and connect with other youth in safe and funky downtown tech space
- Participate in interactive discussion about what loss and grief is, the impacts on young people and coping strategies.
- Learn how you can be a supportive and empathetic friend to someone experiencing loss
- Discover how talking openly about grief, amplifying your voice and youth-advocacy can help process grief and contribute to healing.
- Youth who produce and share a video at the event will also receive a letter confirming volunteer time.
